Before you start

You need at least one saved purchase. Everything on this page is done from the purchase page: on the home screen, tap the purchase to open it.

What a purchase page looks like

From top to bottom you find:

  • the preview of the original document: tap it to see it full screen;
  • Original saved, with how you added it (Scan, Photo, File or Shared);
  • the details you typed (category, serial number, order number, tracking number, note);
  • Protection (the warranty) and Return period;
  • Documents and History;
  • What we found (the details read from the document) and, for some invoices, Document checks;
  • the Open and Share buttons for the original.

At the top right there is the menu with three dots (More): Edit details, Warranty, Claim pack, Message to the store, Share original and Delete.

Give it a name and add details

  1. On the purchase, tap the menu with three dots at the top right.

  2. Tap Edit details.

    What you’ll see: the Edit details window opens.

  3. Under Title, type a name you’ll recognise, for example «Kitchen washing machine».

  4. Under Category, tap one: Electronics, Home, Fashion, Health, Food, Travel or Other.

  5. If you have them, fill in Serial number (printed on the product or its box), Order number (from the confirmation email or the invoice), Tracking number (from the carrier’s message) and Note.

  6. Tap Save.

    What you’ll see: the details appear on the purchase and you can search for them from the home screen.

Merchant, date, total and currency aren’t changed here: tap the detail in What we found (Check the “To check” details).

Attach an extra document

The warranty card, a photo of the product, the manual, the serial number plate, the papers of a repair or a return.

  1. On the purchase, scroll down to Documents and tap Add document.

    What you’ll see: the Add document window opens with the question What is this?.

  2. Choose the type: Warranty card, Product photo, Serial number plate, Manual, Repair, Return paperwork or Other document.

  3. If you like, type a name under Name (optional), for example «24-month warranty».

  4. Choose where to take it from: Scan, Choose photo or Choose file or PDF.

  5. Take the picture or pick the file.

    What you’ll see: the document appears in the Documents section with its type and date. Tap it to open it.

On the free plan you can attach 1 extra document per purchase. To attach more you need Pro: if you try to add a second one, the Pro page opens.

To remove an extra document: touch and hold it, tap Remove and confirm with Remove. The file is removed from the phone; the purchase and its original proof stay.

Keep a history

The history collects what happens after the purchase. Scontrik adds Purchased, Return period ends and Warranty ends by itself when the dates exist. You add the rest.

  1. On the purchase, scroll down to History and tap Add to history.

  2. Under What happened?, choose: Delivered, Sent for repair, Back from repair, Return requested, Returned, Refunded or Note.

  3. Set the Date.

  4. If you like, type a Note (optional), for example the service centre or the ticket number.

  5. Tap Save.

    What you’ll see: the entry appears in the history, in date order.

To remove an entry you added: touch and hold it and tap Remove.

Tip: if you mark Return requested or Sent for repair and not yet the outcome (Returned, Refunded, Back from repair), the purchase shows up in the Open case filter on the home screen.

Open and share the original

  • To view it: tap the preview at the top or the Open button.
  • To send it (email, messages, print, save to Files): tap Share or, from the menu with three dots, Share original.

The original is shared exactly as you saved it.

Delete a purchase

  1. On the purchase, tap the menu with three dots.

  2. Tap Delete.

    What you’ll see: the question Delete this purchase? appears, with the explanation: it moves to Recently deleted in Settings, you can restore it for 30 days, then it’s erased for good.

  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

    What you’ll see: you’re back on the home screen and the purchase no longer appears.

Restore a deleted purchase

  1. Open Settings and, under Your data, tap Recently deleted.

    What you’ll see: you see the deleted purchases, each with «Erased in … days».

  2. Tap Restore under the purchase.

    What you’ll see: the purchase is back on the home screen. Its reminders stay off: turn them on again from the purchase.

Watch out: Erase now and Erase all in Recently deleted remove the original proof and everything read from it from the phone. This can’t be undone.

If something goes wrong

I can’t add a second document. On the free plan it’s 1 per purchase. Remove the existing one or go Pro.

I deleted a purchase by mistake. If less than 30 days have passed, restore it from Settings › Recently deleted.

I see «The changes couldn’t be saved. Try again.» Close the window, open it again and try again. If it keeps happening, contact support (If something goes wrong).
