Before you start
Search, filters and sorting appear on the home screen as soon as you’ve saved at least one purchase.
Search with a word
On the home screen, tap the Search proofs and their text field.
Type a word: the name of the store or the product, an amount, a serial, order or tracking number.
What you’ll see: the list updates as you type. If the word was found inside the document, the piece of text where it appears is shown under the purchase.
Tap the purchase you were looking for.
From the second letter on, Scontrik also searches the text read from each document, not just the main details. To clear the search, tap the small x at the end of the field.
Tip: give important purchases a clear name, such as «Kitchen washing machine». You set it in Edit details (see Documents, history and details) and it becomes the easiest word to search for.
Quick filters
Under the search there is a row of buttons. Each one shows how many purchases it contains. Tap one to see only those; tap All to go back to the full list.
- All: every purchase.
- To check: purchases with at least one detail to confirm.
- Verified: purchases that have been read and have nothing pending.
- Warranty: purchases with a warranty set.
These only appear when at least one purchase belongs to them:
- Return open: the return period you set hasn’t ended yet.
- Warranty ending: the warranty ends within 30 days.
- No warranty card: you set a warranty but didn’t attach the warranty card.
- Open case: in the history you marked a return requested or a repair sent, and haven’t marked it closed yet.
Filter by period, store and category
Tap the filters button, next to the search field.
What you’ll see: the Filters window opens.
Under Period, choose Any time, This month, Last 3 months, This year, Last year or Custom range. With Custom range you set the From and To dates.
Under Merchants, tap one or more stores.
Under Categories, tap one or more categories.
What you’ll see: the button at the bottom tells you how many purchases you’ll find, for example Show 4 results.
Tap Show … results.
What you’ll see: you’re back on the filtered list. Labels with the active filters appear under the search.
To remove a filter, tap its label. To remove them all, tap Clear all. In the Filters window, the Reset button at the top puts everything back.
Note: while a period is active, purchases without a date are hidden. If one is missing, remove the period or confirm its date (Check the “To check” details).
Stores and categories only appear in the filters once you’ve saved them in at least one purchase. Categories are chosen in Edit details.
Sort the list
Tap the sort button, next to the filters.
Choose Newest first, Oldest first or Highest amount.
See how much you’ve spent: Insights
On the home screen, tap the round button with the chart at the top right (Insights).
What you’ll see: Insights opens with three numbers: Proofs, Verified, To check.
Look at Total verified spending: it’s the sum of your purchases, split by currency.
Tap Close to go back.
Only values verified on the receipt or confirmed by you count towards the total. If a purchase still has its total or currency to check, the app says so and leaves it out of the sum.
With Pro you also get Last 12 months (a month-by-month chart, with a currency choice) and Top merchants. On the free plan, the Unlock with Pro button is there instead.
If something goes wrong
I see «No matches». Tap Clear filters or try another word.
A purchase doesn’t appear with the period filter. It probably has no confirmed date. Remove the period and check its date.
Insights shows nothing. «Nothing to chart yet» appears until at least one purchase has a verified total and currency. Confirm the details to check and try again.
