Before you start

Make sure you have an iPhone with iOS 26 or later and your Apple ID at hand. If you’re not sure, read Before you start.

Download Scontrik from the App Store

  1. Open the App Store app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap Search and type Scontrik.

What you’ll see: the purple Scontrik icon appears in the results. In English the App Store name is simply «Scontrik».

  3. Tap the download button (Get, or the cloud icon if you downloaded it before) and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password.

  4. When the download finishes, tap Open.

You can also open Scontrik’s page on the App Store directly from your iPhone.

The welcome tour

The first time you open it, Scontrik shows you four short screens. On the first three there is a Skip button at the top right.

Note: if you tap Skip, you go straight to the home screen, without the notification request and without the plans page. That’s fine: you can turn notifications on later from Settings › Reminders › Notifications.

  1. First screen: Every proof, safe. It explains that the original of every receipt stays on your iPhone. Tap Continue.

What you’ll see: the second screen appears, Add one in a second, with three icons: Scan, Photo, File.

  2. Read how to add a document: scan, photo, PDF or sharing from another app. Tap Continue.

What you’ll see: Facts, not guesses appears, with an example of verified details and one «To check».

  3. Here the app explains that it only fills in what it can verify on the receipt. Tap Continue.

What you’ll see: the last screen appears, Protected when it matters, with the Turn on reminders button.

  4. Tap Turn on reminders.

What you’ll see: iOS asks whether Scontrik may send you notifications.

  5. Tap Allow. Without this permission the app can’t warn you before a warranty or a return period ends.

What you’ll see: the Scontrik Pro page opens with the available plans.

If you’d rather decide later, tap Maybe later at step 4: you still reach the plans page.

The plans page

At the end of the tour Scontrik shows you the Scontrik Pro subscription. It isn’t required: the free plan lets you save up to 20 proofs and have up to 3 active reminders. Details are in Scontrik Pro and subscriptions.

  1. To start for free, tap Continue with the free plan at the bottom.

What you’ll see: the home screen opens with the title Your purchase memory starts here and the Add your first proof button.

Watch out: if instead you choose a plan and tap Start free trial or Continue, iOS asks you to confirm a paid subscription with your Apple ID. Read the price shown before you confirm: when the free trial ends, the subscription renews as a paid one unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.

The home screen

Here is what you find, from top to bottom:

  • The greeting and your status, for example how many proofs you’ve saved.
  • Two round buttons at the top right: the one with the chart opens Insights, the one with the gear opens Settings.
  • Private, on this device: a reminder that your data stays on the phone.
  • The free plan counter, for example «20 free proofs left · Go Pro». Tapping it opens the Pro page.
  • The purple Add proof button, at the bottom right: this is where you save every new document.

Once you’ve saved your first purchases, the search bar, the filters and the list of purchases appear too.

Watch the tour again

You can replay the tour whenever you like: Settings › Help › Replay the welcome tour.

If something goes wrong

I can’t find Scontrik on the App Store. Make sure you’re searching the App Store on your iPhone and that your iPhone runs iOS 26 or later. If it still doesn’t appear, write to info@ifgecommerce.com and tell us your Apple ID’s country.

I tapped «Don’t Allow» for notifications. In Scontrik, go to Settings › Reminders › Notifications and tap Open Settings: Scontrik’s page in the iPhone settings opens, where you can turn notifications on.

I closed the plans page by mistake. You haven’t lost anything: you’ll find it in Settings, in the box at the top, with the See Pro button.
