Downloading the register as PDF, Excel or CSV

Before you start
- Export requires the Grow or Unlimited plan. On Free the menu item reads Export (requires Grow) and the page shows the CSV, PDF and Excel export box with the Grow → button.
- Fill in your company details in Settings so the files show your company name and VAT number: All settings. It isn’t mandatory.
Downloading the file

In the app menu, choose Export.
What you’ll see: two boxes side by side: Period to export on the left and Preview — (period) on the right.
- Choose the type of period with one of three buttons: Whole month, Single day or Whole year.
- Choose the period:
- with Whole month, in the Month menu;
- with Single day, in the Day field;
- with Whole year, in the Year field.

Press Update preview.
What you’ll see: the right-hand box shows the period’s rows by rate, with Period total. Check the numbers are what you expect.
- Press the button for the format you need:
- Download PDF: the document already laid out for filing;
- Download Excel: the same amounts as numbers, with totals calculated by the sheet. It’s the handiest file for your accountant;
- Download CSV: plain text, for archiving.
What you’ll see: your browser saves the file to your downloads folder.
Note: all three formats contain the same data and are always in Italian. A whole-year PDF gives the month-by-month totals and summaries; the year’s day-by-day detail is in the Excel and CSV files.
What’s in the files
- The company details you entered in Settings. If they’re missing, the files identify the store only by its Shopify address.
- Operations recorded late on a later day, listed in a separate block with the real day. They’re already included in the totals.
- On the Grow plan, every PDF page ends with the signature “IFG Registro dei Corrispettivi - Designed by IFG eCommerce - ifgecommerce.com”. Excel and CSV have no signature.
- On the Unlimited plan the PDF has no IFG signature unless you write your own text, and PDF and Excel can carry your logo. You set this in Settings › Advanced options.
The app doesn’t sign the files digitally and doesn’t provide legally compliant archiving: agree with your accountant how to file them.
If something goes wrong
A yellow banner says “… not filled in yet: exported files will identify the store only by its Shopify address.” Company name or VAT number is missing. You can still download, or press Fill in company details and add them.
I see “Download link expired. Go back to the Export page and try again.” The download link only lasts a few minutes. Go back to Export and press the format button again.
I see “Could not generate the file. Please try again shortly.” It’s a temporary error. Wait a minute and try again.
The preview says “No takings recorded for this period.” There are no recorded sales in the period. Check you chose the right period and confirmed it with Update preview.
