Uninstalling the app
At a glance

Before you start
Warning: 48 hours after uninstalling, the register and your store’s other data are deleted for good. They can’t be recovered afterwards, not even by reinstalling the app.
By law, accounting records must be kept. After uninstalling, keeping the register is your responsibility, so save it first.
- On the Grow or Unlimited plan, open Export and download the register for every period you need, for example one Whole year file per year: Downloading the register.
- On the Free plan there’s no export. Open Register & Revenue, view each month with Month and write down the totals, or switch to Grow for as long as you need to download the files.
- Keep the files somewhere safe and send them to your accountant.
Uninstalling
- In the Shopify admin, open Settings (bottom left).
- Open Apps.
- Find IFG Registro dei Corrispettivi in the list.
- Open the app’s menu and choose Uninstall.
-
Confirm in Shopify’s window.
What you’ll see: the app disappears from the list of installed apps.
Shopify decides the exact menu names, and they may change slightly over time.
What happens to your data
| When | What is deleted |
|---|---|
| Immediately | Your Shopify login sessions and your SMTP server credentials, if you entered any. |
| 48 hours later | The rest, apart from the few exceptions described in the Privacy Policy: the register of daily takings, company details, your accountant’s email and the other settings. Shopify asks the app to delete the store’s data and the app deletes it permanently. |
When you uninstall, Shopify also ends the app’s paid subscription. Automatic sending to your accountant stops.
Details are in the Privacy Policy.
If something goes wrong
I uninstalled without exporting. Write as soon as possible to info@ifgecommerce.com, giving your store and when you uninstalled. After 48 hours the data is deleted and nobody can recover it.
I can’t find the app in the list. Check you’re in the right store and allowed to manage apps. If not, ask the store owner.
