Before you start
You have at least one box. Sales only appear after the first orders with a box.
Open Analytics
-
Go to Shopify Admin › Apps › IFG Build Your Box › Analytics.
What you’ll see: six numbers at the top, then the Sales · last 60 days section, then Box health.
The numbers at the top
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| Total boxes | All your boxes. Underneath you read how many are active: “Active: 1 of 1” on Free, “Active: 3 · Unlimited” on Unlimited. |
| Products used | How many different products appear in your boxes. |
| Sold-out options | How many variants allowed in your boxes are sold out right now. |
| Boxes that cannot be completed | Boxes where the available products aren’t enough to reach the minimum number of items. |
| Pack price above retail | Boxes whose price is higher than the cheapest valid selection bought separately. |
| Drafts | Unpublished boxes. |
Sales · last 60 days
- Boxes sold, Box revenue and Average box value.
- One row for each box sold, for example “12 sold · 10 orders · $840.00”.
- Most chosen products inside the boxes, with the number of units.
Revenue is what customers paid for the products inside the boxes, after all discounts and without shipping. Taxes added at checkout are excluded; if your prices include tax, revenue includes it too. Cancelled orders and test orders are excluded, refunds are not subtracted. With many orders, the app counts at most the 300 most recent and says so under the numbers.
Box health
For each box you see name, status and four rows:
- Pack price: the fixed price.
- Available options: for example “8 of 10”, meaning 2 variants are sold out.
- Retail value: from how much to how much the products would cost bought separately, from the cheapest valid selection to the most expensive.
- Customer saving: the highest saving, for example “up to 35%”.
Below are the warnings, or OK if everything is fine:
- “Not enough available products to reach the minimum”: too many products are sold out. Add products or lower the minimum.
- “The pack costs more than the cheapest valid selection bought separately”: for some combinations the customer is better off buying the products singly.
- “Customer saving up to …%, above 50%: check the pack price.” (yellow).
- “Customer saving up to …%, above 80%: the pack may sell at a loss.” (red). The warning doesn’t block publishing: it’s your call.
- “Sold-out options: …”: how many variants are sold out.
- “Cart configuration to sync”: open the box and save it again (see Publishing a box).
Retail values are estimates based on current variant prices and don’t take collection rules into account.
What data it uses
Analytics reads products, the app configuration and order lines from the last 60 days: products, quantities and amounts. It doesn’t read customer names, emails, phone numbers or addresses and doesn’t store orders: totals are calculated each time you open the page.
Troubleshooting
The sales section says “To see sales, approve the order access requested by the app”. The app doesn’t have permission to read orders yet. When Shopify asks, approve the access, then reload the page.
It says “Sales could not be loaded right now. Try again in a few minutes.” Shopify didn’t answer in time. Reload the page later. The rest of the page works anyway.
It says “No box sold in the last 60 days.” There are no orders with a box in that period. Check that the box is active and the builder is in your theme.
