Changelog
1.0.3 — 10 October 2026
Added
- Guide button. The Overview has a “Guide” button at the top right that opens the user guide in a new tab, in your Admin language (English, Italian, German, French or Spanish; other languages open the English guide).
1.0.2 — 9 October 2026
Changed
- Save changes. On a box page, Save changes stays available even without edits when the cart configuration needs to be synced or the box uses collections. Saving again brings the cart rules back in line and re-reads the products of the collections.
- German and French. The German Admin now addresses you as “Sie” throughout (texts your shoppers see in the store keep “du”). The French Admin says “coffret” instead of “boîte” everywhere.
Fixed
- Builder in the theme. Settings and the empty block in the Theme Editor no longer say that the box is chosen in the block: the block has no box setting. On the home page or a landing page it shows the default box, which is the first box you published.
- Appearance. The box page and the FAQ now say that in the store the Theme Editor block wins: if you fill in its heading, description or accent colour, or choose a corner radius other than “As set in the app”, the block’s values are used.
- Builder preview. With an empty title, the preview shows the builder’s standard title (“Build your box”) instead of “Title hidden”.
- Analytics. The guide now says what Analytics reads: the order lines of the last 60 days (products, quantities and amounts), no customer data.
1.0.1 — 8 October 2026
Changed
- Language. Settings has one language list: “Automatic (Shopify account language)” first, then each language by its own name. No more flag tiles. A new choice is saved from Shopify’s save bar (Save language or Discard). On first open, Automatic is already selected: choose Continue or pick another language.
- Plans. A Monthly/Annual switch, Monthly selected by default (Annual if your plan is already annual); Annual shows its saving (-17%). Prices read “/month” and “/year” and stay on one line. The Free card shows a disabled “Current plan” button when you are on Free.
- Support. All questions start closed, with an arrow that opens them, followed by the number of topics and the “Suggest an improvement” form (email optional). The question box is now at the end of the page.
Fixed
- Boxes. The search field is always visible next to the status filter; the “Filters” label that opened nothing visible is gone.
- Analytics. Box health no longer says OK when the customer saving is very high: above 50% (on the most expensive selection) it shows a warning, above 80% an error. Neither blocks publishing.
- Overview. The fixed-price row now explains in plain words what it does, and says something different when it is not active. Settings describes it the same way, without technical terms.
1.0.0 — 3 October 2026
Version numbering starts again from 1.0.0 today. This entry describes what the app does now; earlier entries have been removed.
What IFG Build Your Box does today
- Fixed-price boxes. Variants and collections as sources (up to 100 variants), with a price that stays fixed from the builder to checkout.
- Rules enforced in the cart. Minimum and maximum items, a maximum per variant and per collection.
- Builder in your theme. A theme app block with customizable appearance; the box is chosen in the app and the block is added full width.
- Publishing from the app. Publish in one click after saving, return to draft, and restore archived or draft box products. Boxes whose product is Unlisted in Shopify stay active.
- Free and Unlimited plans through Shopify. Free allows 1 active box; Unlimited removes the limit. Prices are shown in your language’s notation.
- Admin in your language. English, Italian, Spanish, French and German. By default the language follows your Shopify account; you can pick one in Settings.
- Same look as the other IFG apps. Overview, Boxes, Analytics, Settings, Plans and Support in the menu.
- Support. A Support page with guide, question forwarding and feedback.
- Analytics. Catalog health, boxes sold and revenue from order lines (no customer data).
